The field of mobile learning rapidly increases during the 1990s and early 2000s. Aiming to reduce the illiteracy gap among the young citizens who are not succeeding in school, the European Commission has extended financial support with as much as €4.5m for a three-year pan-European research and development program form-learning.3Over the years, the quality and efficiency of the Internet, as well as the emerging Information Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure, has improved a lot. The increase in the supply of mobile learning pieces of equipment eventually resulted in a decline in the costs of online learning experience throughout the private and government industries including institutions like schools, etc. The application of ‘m-learning’ enhances the flexibility and effectiveness of learning due to its mobile component that makes it possible to be used in a variety of mobile devices such as cell phones and personal digital assistants (PDAs).4Mobile technologies such as wireless networks and mobile devices could directly facilitate learning such as personalized dietary information, quitting smoking programs through mobile devices in the healthcare industry, mobile games for learning, data warehouse/data mining, or to access MBA online. M-learning technology is also useful in classroom teaching and learning.Although the use of m-learning in industries and institutions is continuously increasing, the growth is still considered to be slow and has not been widely used in the markets.5 The continuous upgrading and development of effective mobile learning environments are necessary to increase the number of m-learning users throughout the private and government sectors especially in the field of education.
