I know a stable government is good not only for its citizens, but also for its role in encouraging other
nation-states to adopt strong and stable governing systems. As we are currently seeing in Venezuela, the regimes of Chavez and Madurai are falling apart, with this nation-state essentially informing the rest of the world how not to govern. Still, the concept of a Utopian society often leads to discussions of totalitarian societies.
Does a stable government such as the US, Canada or others leads to world stability and encourages other nations to implement similar political structures?
